When running into issues, deleting the administrator/cache/autoload_psr4.php file can indeed help. Joomla should create a new autoload_psr4.php when it is missing.
When Joomla complains about not being able to open autoload_psr4.php, then there might be a permission issue on the server.
Could you check the permissions on the /administrator/cache/ folder?
Does the webserver's process that runs under a "user:group" (often www-data:www-data but can be different) has write permission in that folder?
